Isakson Mourns Deaths of Hunter Army Airfield Soldiers

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.) issued the following statement on the helicopter crash Thursday morning in Colquitt County, which killed four Hunter Army Airfield soldiers who were on a training mission:

“Any time even one of our men or women in the Armed Forces is killed on the job, it causes a great deal of pain.  But to lose four of our brave soldiers at once is very, very difficult.  Dianne and I extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends and fellow soldiers of those who died. We will keep them in our thoughts and prayers.”
